Is blood taken during my appointment?

Blood samples are collected intravenously by our trained phlebotomists. Whether blood is taken depends on the type of appointment, and details can be found in the information sections of each panel or health check.

Is a urine sample taken?

The collection of a urine sample is dependent on the appointment type. Information regarding this will be provided in the booking details sent to you.

Can I walk in for an appointment?

We recommend booking your appointment in advance via our website, especially for health checks that require fasting. However, you are welcome to visit our clinic to meet with our team and discuss your options. We can assist with bookings in-person as well.

Do we prescribe medication?

No, we do not prescribe medication as part of our services.

What is the cost of a phlebotomy appointment?

We offer two types of phlebotomy appointments:

  • Clinic Appointment: €40
  • Home Appointment: €70 for a phlebotomist to collect your sample at your home or workplace.

When will I receive my results?

Each test has a specific turnaround time, typically 24-48 hours from the time your sample arrives at our lab. Some results may be available the same day, while others may take longer due to technical or supply issues.

Is a doctor’s prescription needed to avail the testing service?

No prescription is required for preventive healthcare packages. However, we recommend consulting your physician if you have an illness before booking any tests.

What are the timings for sample collection at my home?

Sample collection for fasting tests is available from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, while non-fasting tests can be collected until 7:00 PM. If booked in the morning, our technicians will arrive within 60 minutes. Please note that collections on Sundays and holidays may not be available in all cities.

How long does it take to get results for a test?

We aim to deliver results within 2 working days of your blood sample arriving at our lab.

Will my results be shared with my GP?

No, we do not share your results with your GP, and we do not request GP details during the testing process.

How do I prepare for my blood test?

Preparation may vary depending on the specific test. Generally, fasting for at least 8-12 hours before the test is recommended. Detailed instructions will be provided in your booking confirmation.
